Alexandra Park is one of the best parks in the country for its tree collection. Join Dr Owen Johnson to find out more about some of the rare, unusual and champion trees in your multi award winning green space.
A fantastic walk for all whether you’re an expert or just love the big plants, no booking just turn up. Easy to moderate walking conditions.This event is supported by The Friends of Alexandra Park, donations for this group are welcome.
This is a FREE event - Dr. Owen Johnson conducts these talks free, but a donation to FOAP would be appreciated as we are fundraising to replace the missing tree labels on our Champion trees and those of special interest. Collection box will be present on the day.

Free Harmers lay-by off Upper Park Road or on-street parking is widely available on residential side roads surrounding Alexandra Park in Hastings (St Helen’s Rd, Hastings, TN34 2LG), though spaces fill up quickly on sunny days and weekend events.
